The opening question

The business is real.
The room just isn't seeing it yet.

You've got the revenue. You've got the traction. Customers are real, the numbers are real — so why does the deal still slip? Why does the investor go quiet after the pitch? Why does the partnership stall right when it should close?

Most founders blame the pitch. It's rarely the pitch.

It's what's behind it — the infrastructure, the systems, the version of the business the room actually sees versus the one you know you're building. This is the conversation about that gap.

What this is

A closed room for one real conversation.

Not a webinar. Not a panel. Not another networking mixer where everyone collects business cards and nobody remembers a name by Monday.

This is a closed room. Thirty people. One real conversation, guided, not performed.

Thirty seatsBy application only.
Built for the serious few.

Meet the guest

What does it actually take to make a business investable?

That's the question Amne Suedi has spent her career answering — not in theory, but across deal tables, boardrooms, and policy rooms.

Amne Suedi works where ambition meets the realities of doing business in Africa. She is an international business lawyer, investment adviser, and Founder & Managing Director of Shikana Group, advising investors, founders and businesses navigating East African markets.

Having advised 50+ companies and over USD 300 million in transactions, she brings a perspective shaped not only by how deals are structured, but by what actually makes them work — or fail — on the ground.

Her experience spans investment strategy, market entry, cross-border transactions, and policy and regulatory navigation. She also contributed to the drafting of Tanzania's Vision 2050 and serves as Honorary Consul of Switzerland to Zanzibar.

Her question, the one this whole conversation circles: how do we turn Africa's enormous economic potential into businesses, investments, and institutions that actually scale?

the questions?

Bada Muhammad Aluthaimeen (BadaBytes) is a Startup Systems & Growth Architecture strategist focused on solving one of the most critical problems in African entrepreneurship — scaling without structure.

As Founder & CEO of Al-Ameen Spark, a digital growth partner to startups and enterprises, he works with organizations to design structured marketing systems, brand clarity frameworks, and revenue pathways — focusing not just on visibility, but on building systems that sustain growth.

Beyond his company, he serves as Director of Growth & Communications at Algorithmic Explorers, an AI-driven ecosystem operating across 10+ countries, where he leads growth alignment, communication systems, and ecosystem structuring across a distributed network of contributors.

His work cuts across advisory, consulting, and ecosystem leadership — having supported over 50 founders and startup teams across Nigeria and West Africa, helping them transition from reactive execution to disciplined, system-driven growth.

Through his speaking and writing, he challenges conventional startup thinking — replacing hype with systems, and ambition with architecture — equipping founders and teams to build ventures that actually scale and endure.

Why this exists

The best conversations happen with the right people in it, not the most people.

Why Al-Ameen Spark is convening this room

Al-Ameen Spark exists because too many businesses with real revenue and real customers still look like startups online — inconsistent branding, a website that doesn't convert, infrastructure that hasn't kept pace with how far the business has actually come. That gap costs founders investor confidence, enterprise deals, and partnerships, silently, without an invoice ever arriving.

The Founder Fireside Series is where we bring the builders facing that exact problem into one room — because the best conversations happen with the right people in it, not the most people.
