2. Information we collect
Information you provide: We collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company details, enquiry subject and message, cohort application responses, newsletter source, job application answers, CVs, cover letters, and other files you choose to submit.
Information collected automatically: We may receive technical information such as browser type, device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referring page, and interactions with the website. We use this to understand performance, prevent abuse, and improve the experience.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for the relevant form.

4. Legal bases and consent
Depending on the context, we process information because you have requested a service, given consent, it is necessary for our legitimate business interests, or we are required to comply with law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
5. Service providers
We use trusted technology providers to operate the website and deliver services, including Firebase for authentication, database storage, and file storage; Resend for email delivery; Vercel or similar hosting infrastructure; and analytics or security tools that may be added as the website develops. Providers may process information in countries outside Nigeria, subject to their own terms and security practices.
6. Careers applications and files
Career applications are accessible to authorized Al-Ameen Spark administrators for recruitment purposes. CVs, cover letters, and answers are stored using our application infrastructure. We do not sell applicant information. We may retain applications for the relevant recruitment process and a reasonable period afterward for record keeping, future consideration, or legal protection.
7. Newsletter and unsubscribe
If you subscribe, we use your email to send the Spark Letter and related communications. Each newsletter should include an unsubscribe route. You can also use our unsubscribe page. After unsubscribing, we mark your subscription inactive and stop including you in newsletter dispatches, though we may retain a suppression record so we do not accidentally resubscribe you.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, to maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. You may ask us to correct or delete information, subject to information we must retain or need for legitimate protection.
9. Security
We use access controls and reputable infrastructure designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please notify us promptly if you believe an account, form submission, or communication has been misused.
10. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, update, delete, or explain our use of your personal information. You may object to certain processing or withdraw consent where applicable. Requests should be sent to strategy@alameenspark.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
